FIVE DROPS THAT MAKE THE BARREL OVERFLOW ist eine Ausstellung, die belarussische

Künstlerinnen aus Italien, Polen, Deutschland und Litauen zusammenbringt. Durch persönliche und kollektive Praktiken reflektiert das Projekt über Migration, politische Unterdrückung und Exil nach den Protesten in Belarus in den Jahren 2020-2021.

Die Ausstellung untersucht, wie künstlerische Praktiken kollektive Traumata, feministische Impulse und die fortwährende Suche nach Zugehörigkeit transportieren können. Der Titel bezieht sich auf den Moment, in dem etwas Geringfügiges, fast Unmerkliches,

auf eine lange Anhäufung von Druck folgt und schließlich einen Bruch auslöst.

FIVE DROPS THAT MAKE THE BARREL OVERFLOW is an exhibition that brings together Belarusian female artists based in Italy, Poland, Germany, and Lithuania. Through personal and collective practices, the project reflects on migration, political repression, exile following the protests in Belarus in 2020-2021.

The exhibition explores how artistic practices can carry collective trauma, feminist impulses, and the ongoing search for belonging. The title refers to the moment when something minor, almost imperceptible, follows a long accumulation of pressure and ultimately triggers rupture.
