  gemeinschaftlich und selbstbestimmt in Karlsruhe wohnen und leben wollen.
  Unser Ziel ist es\, das erste Mietshäuser-Syndikat-Projekt in Karlsruhe
  zu gründen. Dadurch wird das Haus dauerhaft dem Markt entzogen – es
  kann also nicht mehr verkauft werden und wird immer von den Menschen
  verwaltet\, die gerade darin leben.\n\nWarum wir glauben\, dass Wohnen
  ein Grundrecht ist\, warum wir Privateigentum durch Commons bzw.
  Vergesellschaftung ersetzen wollen\, was es braucht um selbst ein
  Wohnprojekt zu gründen\, wie emotional so ein Prozess ist und was das
  alles mit dem Mietshäuser Syndikat zu tun hat\, erfahrt ihr in unserem
  Vortrag.\n\nAnschließend gibt es Zeit\, uns persönlich kennen zu
  lernen. Denn nach dem Motto:\n„Lieber 1000 Freund*innen im Rücken als
  eine Bank im Nacken“ brauchen wir Direktkredite und weitere
  Unterstützung\, um dieses Projekt umzusetzen.\n\nVor dem Vortrag gibt es
  Essen auf Spendenbasis ab 19 Uhr. Wer uns beim Kochen helfen möchte\,

  people who want to share a home in Karlsruhe in a collaborative and
  self-determined way. Our aim is to set up the first ‘Mietshäuser
  Syndikat’ project in Karlsruhe. This will permanently remove the
  property from the market – meaning it can no longer be sold and will
  always be managed by the people currently living there.\n\nIn our talk\,
  you’ll find out why we believe housing is a fundamental right\, why we
  want to replace private property with commons or socialisation\, what it
  takes to set up a housing project yourself\, how emotionally challenging
  such a process is\, and what all this has to do with the Mietshäuser
  Syndikat.\n\nAfterwards\, there’ll be time to get to know us
  personally. Because\, as the saying goes:\n“Better to have 1\,000
  friends behind you than a bank breathing down your neck”\, we need
  direct loans and further support to make this project a
  reality.\n\nBefore the talk\, there will be a meal on a pay-what-you-can
